Platformation Overview

Platformation is an initiative of Framework and serves as an online resource for members of the charitable sector interested in implementing free and low-cost online and mobile technology into their IT infrastructure.  

Over a two year period, Platformation will do the following:
- test 200+ cloud, social, mobile applications
- connect with 100 technologists and technically minded non-profit peeps
- Form a technology collaborative with other groups working at the intersection of technology and non-profit. You access the collaborative agenda and meeting notes here. 

Innoweave Overview

Innoweave is an initiative of The J.W. McConnell Family Foundation, in collaboration with Social Innovation Generation(SiG), thought leaders, academics, and prospective partners from the private and public sectors. Through this initiative, the Foundation aims to help community organizations explore and implement new tools and approaches to enhance their impact.  In November 2011, Innoweave delivered a Platformation learning event which explored ways to use cloud computing to enhance impact. 

A fund to support implementation was subsequently launched. For project details, a list of software being used by each organization, and a consultant list please click below.
